Who's hungry?

The West Michigan Whitecaps are now selling a 4800 calorie burger. The burger consists of 5 1/3 lb patties, a lb of chili, corn chips, 5 slices of cheese, cheesy filling, lettuce, sour cream, salsa and a 1 lb bun. All in all, it's about a 4 lb burger. They are selling it for $20. Naturally, it's free (monetarily) if you eat the whole thing. "Congratulations!, now there's the john." ;-)

Of course, this burger is nothing compared to the 15 lb burger they serve at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in PA. This thin young man actually ate the whole thing. It took him over 4 hours, but he did it. Congrats! ;-)

I kind of understand competitive eating...kind of...but I was really liking our tendency to move toward sliders instead of these brontosaurus burgers. They are cute and little and great to share, and usually just 150 calories for one!

Americans are awful when it comes to giant sized food.

the little burger look good though!

Maybe Stephanie can try to tackle that giant burger... we're still awaiting that event.
