Oh dear

Upon my suspicion that I needed more fiber in my diet, I just ran my diet for the last month (on fit.day.com) and learned that I averaged 7 grams of fiber per day. That's not good. According to the ADA, you should consume one gram of fiber per 100 calories per day. I was averaging 1200 calories per day for the past month, so my average fiber should have been 12. I was under by nearly half. Additionally, the ADA recommends that if you are on a reduced calorie diet, as I am, you should try to still have a minimum of 20 grams of fiber per day. Okay - new goal - 50-60 grams of protein AND 20 grams of fiber per day.
