I read online that rapid weight loss can cause a gallbladder attack, as well as not taking in enough calories. I'm not sure if my weight loss classifies as rapid for this purpose, and I'm not sure if I'm taking in a low enough amount of calories to generate an attack, but I plan to ask my MD. Lately, I've been averaging about 650 calories per day. I really need to make an effort to get that number to 1000.

Sorry you are not feeling well. I hope it's nothing major like your gallbladder. Let me know how you make out.
I talked with my MD's office and described my symptoms and they agreed it was related to the gallbladder, but I didn't need to go in unless it gets worse. They don't usually do anything after the first attack, b/c it may stop on it's own.
125 in 8 months is very rapid and yes, you're not taking in enough calories. I hope that now you will.
Feel better!
